My Design Process
Deforestation has devastated the landscape of the world, and with fewer trees around to take in the carbon dioxide, this greenhouse gas accumulates in the atmosphere and accelerates global warming.
Solution: Plant it Forward is a crowdfunding-based model that aims to plant trees through donations. The areas chosen for reforestation are monitored by drones so you can see exactly what your donation turned into. The aim of Plant it Forward is to give donors a virtual reward that they can monitor, as trust is often a barrier when donating.

Along with researching other charitable apps, I developed Personas and performed a Task analysis to help in my design process.
I utilized a User Flow to help simulate the steps a user would take while using the app and sketched out the design afterwards with the flow in mind.
